- We want it now. No one plays this one more than the health and fitness industry: take this pill and go to sleep you’ll
be thinner in the morning; squeeze your thighs together just 5 minutes 2 days a week and build a body that will qualify you for Mr. or Mrs. America. You know the scenarios.
- We don’t like our bodies. Did you know you can’t change that which you don’t love?
- We’re in trouble medically and are frightened and will try anything.
- We’re going to lose (or not get) love if we don’t get in shape.
- We just don’t like ourselves but maybe we will if we buy a special piece of equipment; drink a special shake; take a special pill we’ll be ok.
