About The Author
My passion
has always been to help others in their pursuit of
fitness and wellness. After spending 20+ years
working in Corporate America, (from entry level
sales to a position as a Corporate VP), I took the
plunge, and in 1993 I opened my first personal
training studio. I still remember how excited I was
to finally follow my passion. Though, at the time I
was 44 years old, emotionally I felt like a kid
again. With the energy and excitement of a 20 year
old I believed (innocently) that I was going to help
everyone who walked into my door. Need to lose
weight? No problem! Increase energy? I have the
answer! Want to lower blood pressure and
cholesterol? OK! I can help. Little did I know at
the time that although I knew I could help these
people with those issues, it wasn’t working. Most
clients worked out hard with me in the studio, but
getting them to do cardio on their own or eating
right even for a week was a challenge. There had to
be a better way. I spent countless hours reading and
studying on every subject pertinent to my goal. I
received other certifications (NASM CPT, AFAA CPT,
AFPA Certified Nutrition Counselor…) I studied under
the best leaders in our industry (Phil Kaplan, Paul
Chek, John Parrillo), I learned about psychology,
you name it, all in the pursuit of increasing
compliancy for my clients. What I soon came to
realize was I needed a system and a protocol for my
clients, one that would educate and motivate them as
they were experiencing positive physical change. It
took me 10 years (slow learner) to create Stop The
Confusion. Stop The Confusion is a proven method, or
protocol if you will, that teaches people how to
live in a healthy, fit body. Since applying Stop The
Confusion with my clients, adherence has increased
to such a point that I now guarantee their success.
From years of learning, and by trial and error, Stop
The Confusion was born and now proudly I can say I
wrote the book so you too can live in a healthy, fit
body. I guarantee it!
